As Warranty Specialist II - you will ensure warranty claims are processed using established Warranty guidelines, contracts and coverages, analyze and interpret labour/part claims for legitimacy and coding accuracy. Approve all claims up to a maximum dollar amount as specified by the Manager. Mentor and guides less experience processors on standard warranty policy and processing procedure.

Essential Job Function:

  • Provide field service support through timely and accurate processing of claims
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customers' claims are adjudicated and processed promptly
  • Manage work in process levels to agreed upon KPIs. Seeds of claim processing data entry with accuracy in following policy and procedures is extremely important
  • Respond to customer and/or distributor inquiries through email, written, or phone in timely manner including, but not limited to returns, status of labour and or part claims
  • Mentor less experiences processor on processes and procedures using approved standards and documentation
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required; with a minimum of 2 years of Technical Customer Service experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of one or two Foodservice Group product lines
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Experience and general understanding of accounting and financials
  • Must be efficient, accurate and capable of a high volume workload
  • Ability to clearly express ideas and thoughts - written and verbally
  • Possess a high degree of tact, diplomacy, problem solving skills and judgement
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong personnel management and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity
