Have you been looking for the chance to use your expertise to make a real difference in an organization?   As the Staff Internal Auditor, you will assist in compliance (including SOX 404 testing), financial, and operational audits at Welbilt business units.  You will discuss results with the Director, Manager, or a Senior IA in charge of the project the Staff is assisting with.  You will also assist with the development of audit reports providing observations and recommendations for review by the Director, Manager, or a Senior IA.   • Managing and participating in certain projects from planning through fieldwork and development of reports, reporting to the Manager, Internal Audit.
  • Logic and completeness and accuracy of workpapers supporting the Essential Job Functions.
  • Development of the draft of reports on audit projects.                                  
Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform compliance (including SOX 404 testing), operational, financial audits, and other special projects.
  • Perform the review of the reliability and integrity of compliance, financial, and operational information and the means used to identify, measure, classify, and report such information.
  • Perform the preparation of audit reports detailing deficiencies / observations and recommendations for review by the Director, Manager, or a Senior IA.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Internal/External Audit and a minimum of 3 years of experience required.
  • CPA recommended (will accept candidates that are in the process of completing).
  • IIA member and CIA recommended (will accept candidates that are in the process of completing).
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Understanding of Internal Audit methodologies, processes.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management within the organization.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate globally and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work independently while balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Written and verbal communication skills to participate in projects and assist with presenting topics to management.
  • Knowledge of accounting / GAAP.
