The Sr. DevOps Engineer-Digital will participate in the completion of projects, tasks and support within Welbilt’s digital program. The ideal Sr DevOps Engineer is a team player with a development background and heavy experience working on the operations side. The Sr DevOps Engineer will be managing Welbilt’s on-premise install of Team Foundation Server, related processes and administration tasks. The Sr DevOps Engineer should be very experienced in setting up CI / CD pipelines and should have a deep knowledge of Team Foundation Server to be successful in this role. This role is critical in ensuring that effective and efficient SDLC controls are in place and working.

Reporting directly to the Lead Software Engineer-Digital, this position is based in New Port Richey, Florida.

Major Accountability:

  • Driving efficiency and accuracy in SDLC processes using automated patterns

  • Perform configuration management activities in repository systems

  • Implementation of Release Management automation

  • Act as a liaison between the development team and the infrastructure team

Job Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

  • Setup CI / CD pipelines using Team Foundation Server

  • Configure and manage SQL and NoSQL data sources in AWS Cloud

  • Manage source control using GIT in Team Foundation Server

  • Manage DevOps processes and ensure that all team members understand and follow the processes using the approve tools

  • Administer on-premise install of Team Foundation Server

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Development, IT Programming, IT Administration, or Release Management preferred.

  • 13 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Knowledge of software development and IT security and operations best practices

  • Familiar with different operating systems including Windows Server, Linux, iOS and Android

  • Hands-on Experience in the designing and implementation of a cloud based continuous delivery platform

  • Hands-on Experience with automation/configuration management using Team Foundation Server

  • Proven track record of successfully setting up CI / CD for both Microsoft and open source technologies

  • Prior experience with AWS cloud computing

  • Hands-on experience with source control using GIT

  • Hands-on experience in at least in one scripting language
