As Senior Financial Analyst, this person will work and correspond with multiple business partners to budget, forecast and report financial results for various Sales and General Administrative functionals. They will be responsible to identify key financial drivers to help management understand financial impacts of decisions by utilizing established reporting or creating ad hoc reporting to carve out areas of the business to allow informed decision making.  In addition, they will also be responsible for assisting in establishing project budgets and subsequently tracking and reporting spend against budget, proactively identify areas of risk or opportunity.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this position is located in New Port Richey, FL or Manitowoc, WI.

Major Accountability:

Candidate will be a proactive financial professional with a firm understanding of financial concepts for both finance and accounting. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with cross-functional, decentralized teams across the organization as well as management providing financial analysis and business support.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of the Shared Services financial results

  • Collaboration with the business operators/management to identify key drivers, risks and opportunities as well as drive project costs and overall development of the budget/forecast 

  • Assist in the construction of proforma financials that carve out areas of the business to allow for more informed decision making 

  • Perform sensitivity analysis on key financial drivers to help management understand the potential financial impact of decisions 

  • Work with operating departments to forecast and review major operating expense categories and identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost reduction 

  • Recommend new reporting or modifications to existing reporting to improve both the quality of the presentation and the information provided 

  • Track and analyze cross functional project spend, including identifying and reporting spend to strategic business plan and business cases

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting/ Economics/Finance required and a minimum of five years of experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting.
  • Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
  • Thorough understanding of financial reporting and financial modeling required, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Ability to effectively work and create effective partnerships with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent written, analytical, problem-solving, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills required
  • Must be able to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to work to adapt to a dynamic business and work environment and work independently while balancing multiple priorities
  • Strong MS Office.  Proficient in excel, including pivot tables, charts and complex formulas and experience working with business intelligence tools
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Discoverer, HFM or similar tools is a plus
  • Experience leading initiatives and projects with cross functional teams in a highly complex, fast-paced environment required.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail with ability to identify issues and propose solutions to non-standard situations.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills required
  • Highly motivated and self-directed required
