Job Description

The Quality Manager is responsible for managing and supervise quality assurance, customer acceptance test, lifetime test, quality initiatives and to promote quality initiatives on a local scale to support development, delivery, and operation of drink dispensers for Crem International Shanghai. The Quality Manager shall be able to interact in a professional way with customers, external as well as internal, suppliers and other stakeholders. The Quality Manager has the leading role in the development, implementation and maintenance of Management systems and quality initiatives.

Major Accountability

•Take the lead in prioritized quality issues and make sure that activities from local R/D, internal and external customers, Core Tech team and other involved parties are well coordinated.

•Take a leading role to develop, implement and maintain an effective management system for Crem International Shanghai.

•Take an active part in new projects to ensure that outgoing machines can reach customer expectations

•Develop processes, systems and people in the Quality Department

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

•Coordinate severe customer quality complaints related to Shanghai

•Monitor quality performance of CIS produced machinery at internal customer and Key Accounts site and coordinate activities to ensure that observed issues get resolved

•Maintain existing Management system manual and assure updates are made to processes and procedures as part of continuous improvements

•Monitoring quality performance by gathering relevant data and producing quality reports

•Process ownership of corrective action procedures and control documented information processes.

•Assist product development Project managers in the development of quality assurance plans as well as with resource planning for shared quality resources.

•Develop, implement and maintain the customer acceptance test for machinery produced

•Develop, implement and maintain lifetime test on machinery produced

•Develop, implement and maintain test for incoming material

•Ensure that the right data is collected, analysis made to drive the Quality Improvement forum

•Lead and sponsor the development, implementation and maintenance as well as promoting the digital quality management system

•Manage external audits when required

•Take leadership in setting quality objectives and targets as well as plan for fulfilment.

•Lead train and coach staff to reach improvement targets and personal improvements

•Other tasks and activities assigned by Operations Manager


Job Requirements

Specialized Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

•         Educated Internal Auditor

•         Proven ability to use IT tools for process control and analysis

•         Educated in Lean, Six Sigma, ISO 9000 or similar process-based business development systems

•         Proven ability to lead a team
