As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will assist the product management and sales teams in the development of product and market strategies by conducting market analysis while providing “day-to-day” support to help manage the marketing mix and improve decision making by PL Marketing/Product Management leadership.


Reporting directly to the Director Product Management, this position is based in Shreveport, LA*.


Major Accountability:

  • Developing and maintaining sales spec. sheets

  •  Managing all electronic and print material related to catalogs

  •  Becoming the product subject matter expert

  •  Responsible for managing interaction with Sales Team

Essential Job Junctions:

  • Research economy, industry, market, customer and competitor information for all product categories

  • Analyze monthly product sales reports for trends affecting the company

  • Identify, analyze, and track industry trends of equipment purchases, competition, distribution, customer segments and chain accounts

  • Responsible for Voice of Customer (VOC) process regarding new product introduction and existing product improvement

  • Working with marketing and/or product managers to establish pricing recommendations that meet profit objectives and are competitive in the market place

  • Develop structure and content of price lists to interface with Welbilt central marketing team

  • Maintain all equipment prices

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field is required

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related experience is required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills

  • Must have the ability to maintain good customer relationships

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment

  • Some travel is required to attend tradeshows
