  • Drive Product line profitability by leading financial performance to the appropriate targets as identified in the Strategic Plan, Annual Budget, and outlooks. This includes all PnL, assets and cash items, mainly for sales, manufacturing, purchasing, R&D, and quality.
  • Optimize resources by driving financials related to SIOP, continuous improvements/Lean, CAPEX, global initiatives and KPI targets.
  • Actively support New Product Introduction
  • Lead site accounting, including A/R and Audit requirements, in sync with Corporate Accounting requirements
 Essential Job Functions: 
  • REPORTING: Manage timely completion of the month-end financial close process. Prepare all financial analysis, performance reports, and meaningful business driven commentary as a key business partner.
  • FORECASTING: Manage timely completion of all forecasting cycles, including strategic business plan, annual budget and required outlooks, in sync with Welbilt Corporate schedule.
  • SIOP: Provide financials to the SIOP team in order to take fact based decisions and optimize manufacturing, inventory and asset resources.
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Be an active partner of continuous improvement by supporting the value stream Lean deployment, project managers, global sourcing studies, make vs. buy, Capex financial return analysis and global alignment to the defined strategy.
  • COSTING: Supervise the preparation and maintenance of product standard costs, ensure cost standardization principles are applied, and develop all required Lean Finance costing.
  • NPI: Support product line NPI/NPD teams by providing timely cost estimates, profitability analysis and risk assessments.
  • ACCOUNTING: Lead site accounting activities; including, developing accounting processes consistent with Welbilt's business, deploying standard processes, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and ensuring appropriate standards of internal control. Supervise the Accounts Payable function.
  • AUDIT: Supervise and audit the preparation and calculation of monthly/quarterly/annual rebate and commission payments.
  • TAX: Supervise and review the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual sales and use tax.
  • MANAGEMENT: Manage and develop talent of a team of 4-6 people with different backgrounds e.g. accounting, finance, production or engineering. Duties include hiring and training/coaching.


Job Requirements

Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; with a minimum of 10 years’ of Finance/Accounting experience is required.
  • New product introduction and project management experience is required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement and lean processes and systems
  • Proven leader with outstanding communication skills and ability to relate and motivate people at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be analytical and detail-oriented - with a “big picture” perspective.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time.
