As Planner/Scheduler I, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling the release of manufacturing orders to the production floor, including daily production orders and service orders.

Reporting directly to the Planner/Scheduler III, this position is based in Parsons, Tennessee*.

Major Accountability:

•         Preparing necessary documentation for manufacturing focusing on shop orders and repeats, ability to read and interpret as-built drawing

•         Processing sheet metal transactions to maintain correct inventory

•         Operating in Microsoft based programs and standard office equipment 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

•         Plan, initiate and schedule the release of manufacturing orders to the floor for daily production

•         Initiate and schedule shop orders for service parts to fill customer service

•         Initiate manufacturing orders for engineering samples

•         Assist in projection of manpower and labor requirements to facilitate proper manning

•         Work with purchasing to coordinate material availability and expediting

•         Monitoring engineering/sales change orders to ensure proper components on manufacturing orders

•         Assist production supervisor upon request.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration with a minimum of 1 year experience: will consider 4 years scheduling experience in lieu of degree.
  • Intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook required
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of walk-in and/or refrigeration equipment.
  • Must be detail oriented, exercising judgment and serving customers timely
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment

•         Typical office environment; Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required.
