Job Description

  1. Position Summary
    • The leader Brand Marketing is responsible to develop and implement the best global positioning of the brand in the competitive market place. Specifically, s/he determines the brand identity and develops the brand messaging specific to the target customer segment. S/he works with the internal teams and external support as required to create all relevant advertising, sales, promotion and communication material in line with corporate standards. S/he works closely with the regional commercial teams to identify requirements and opportunities as well as ensure most effective positioning of the brand

  2. Position Purpose
  • Define global brand strategy by customer segment, channel stage and region
  • Create globally consistent brand identity and region / market specific positioning in line with product strategy
  • Develop brand messaging as well as verbiage and imagery (incl. website, social media, video, print, etc.) for regional commercial teams
  • Define annual brand marketing plans in collaboration with regional commercial teams and support execution by defining required materials
  • Support regions in effective execution of brand marketing plans for maximum impact
  • Maintain close relation with key opinion makers and decision makers to identify brand positioning opportunities
  • Regularly benchmark relevant competitors and conduct voice of customer / panel studies to identify improvements
  • Develop and manage budgets to support marketing activities and sales goals

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record in positioning and developing brands, ideally in a multi-brand environment
  • Experience in channel marketing in a b-2-b environment is welcomed
  • Experience in foodservice or related industry is a plus
  • Ability to work in a global team, cross-functional is a must
  • Strong strategic thinking and implementation skills
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, brand management
  • BA a must, MBA preferred
  • English and one language of the region required
