As Manager Warranty Claims Processing  Systems this person provides leadership, management, and coordination for Welbilt’s global claims processing centers and the development, deployment and improvements of  claims processing system (installations, PM, Warranty etc. types of claims) and claims policies, processes. Specifically and in addition, the position holder is responsible for setting up and maintaining various business systems relating to after sales service including equipment Install base, claims processing, Factory Authorized Servicers management and other related business systems and database, and feeding the information into the relevant channels internally. Further s/he manages claims processing centers, tracks the performance of such. vs established annual targets and provides insights on likely future performance. 

Reporting directly to the VP Global Strategy, Policy, Process and Pricing; this position is located in Manitowoc, WI.

Essential Job Functions: 


  • Provides leadership, management, and coordination for Welbilt’s global claims processing centers
  • Responsible for Strategy and setting up and maintaining various business systems relating to after sales service
  • Manages after sales business system projects on time and within budget
  • Creates effective project documentation including project charters, business requirement documents, functional design documents, test plans, project plans, and change control documents
  • Create reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and other business reporting tools
  • Coordinates and executes functional testing related to issue resolution.
  • Works with functional business leaders to develop and implement continuous process improvement
  • Strong passion for process improvements and business partner/customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five years of experience in after sales service and information systems is required. Will consider a minimum of 13 years of progressive service management experience in lieu of education.
  • Experience in after salesservice and associated business systems.
  • Financial acumen
  • Strong ability to understand customer issue and expectations
  • Ability to garner internal and external relationships and work cross-functional and global.
  • Strong persuasive skill with ability to solve problems and make things happen
  • Solid Microsoft office platform. Salesforce.com and ERP systems experience a plus
  • Ability of occasional travel internationally
