  • Global tax provision review and direct oversight, including tax packages for global finance leaders and federal/state/international compliance for the provision
  • Develop and implement integrated business and tax strategic initiatives, including minimization of both ETR and cash taxes.
  • Act as a change agent and champion continuous improvement and efficiency efforts within the department using CorpTax technology and methodology to establish best practices.
  • Identifying, researching and communicating changes in evolving tax law and strategies.
  • Develop and implement process and technology improvements to streamline compliance and reporting.
  • Apply best practices of preparing and reviewing federal and international income tax returns and related disclosures. 
  • Research and provide guidance on various tax technical topics
  • Ensure relevant SOX documentation is prepared quarterly
  • Assist with the preparation and review of federal, state and international tax returns
  • Mentor and develop tax team members, including spending time to educate personnel, leading by example and modeling an open door policy.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and a minimum of 7 years of prior experience in federal and international tax required.
  • Tax research development and writing/presenting technical and executive summaries are required.
  • Must be a team leader who enjoys developing and mentoring staff as well as learning from each other.
  • Lead and participate in “Lunch and Learn” presentations for tax/other functions.
  • Ability to prioritize, know when to delegate tasks and manage delegated tasks accordingly.
  • Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and tax research skills required.
  • CPA certification and experience with a multinational automated tax compliance/provision system.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment are required. Problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
  • Must be career and goal oriented, and a potential resource for departmental succession planning.  
  • Willing and able to travel domestically – up to 10% of the time.
