Then look no further – your new career as a Regional Service Manager awaits you at Welbilt, Inc.   As a Regional Service Manager – you will be responsible for providing office and field-based technical support for assigned product lines including: diagnostic assistance, technical training and management of FAS's, customer operational training, tradeshows, and strategic account/market tests.  Mentors and trains lower level technicians, claims analysts and other internal personnel   Reporting directly to the Director Customer Service; this position is located in Sellersburg, IN*.   We put the 'fast' in fast food and the refinement in fine dining.   • Answer technical assistance inquiries from service agents, sales and customers.
  • Extensive domestic and International travel to support customer/product issues, field or market tests, and service agent training needs.
  • Participate in cross functional meetings such as NPI, EIM and others as assigned.  Provide field data input into key functional areas of the brand.
  • Identify, monitor and report major field quality/service issues, log data and report out to Engineering, Quality and Product Management teams.
  • Identify, develop and format literature and training curriculum content.  Translate materials into call center scripting for internal and external resource use.
  • Mentor and coach lower level technical resources. 


Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
  • Associates Degree; with a minimum of 8 years’ of Customer or Technical Service experience is required. Will consider a minimum of 12 years equivalent experience, in lieu of degree.
  • Strong personnel management and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.
  • Exercise high degree of tact, diplomacy, problem solving skills and enterprise thinking process.
  • Data analysis and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial refrigeration tools, and their use.
  • Familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Refrigerant handling certification is a plus.
  • Normal office environment, commercial kitchen/restaurant, C-stores.  Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time – required.
