Are you a seasoned marketer, proven sales expert, and champion of profitability?  Then look no further . . . your future awaits as our next Product Sales Manager for Welbilt, KitchenCare.   As a Product Sales Manager this person will be the expert of their aftermarket product/services in the defined territory. This person will execute all required external product/services trainings to sales teams, channel partners, and key customers. They provide territory feedback on aftermarket product/services features, performance, and positioning vs competition to Sales Management. In addition, they will support sales teams in lead generation and conversion if appropriate.  The PSM is the tactical day-to-day interface with the Factory Authorized Servicer (FAS) Network, commercial sales team and strategic accounts delivering those tools and messaging created by the WKC Sales Management team to the market.   Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this position is based in our Jeffersonville, Indiana facility but may work remotely.   We put the 'fast' in fast food and the refinement in fine dining.   • Aftermarket Product/Service trainings to external commercial teams
  • Tactical support of lead generation and conversion
  • Feedback on competitive aftermarket product/services and strategies to WKC Sales Management
  • Development and implementation of all new service offerings in conjunction with brands and commercial sales teams 
Essential Job Functions: 
  • Act as training and field application expert for the respective aftermarket product/services in the territory externally; answer all product/service usage and performance related questions from the commercial teams, reps, and dealers.  Tactically support sales teams in lead generation and conversion by delivering product/services trainings, supporting key account activities, etc.
  • In collaboration with territory service, sales and marketing teams monitor aftermarket product/services performance and customer satisfaction, communicating such information back to Sales Management (incl. delivery, quality, warranty, technical support)
  • Collect, structure and provide feedback on aftermarket product/services performance vs competition and competitor actions to Sales Management
  • Support sales team on large national account or strategic account sales opportunities

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years previous experience in training and service area in foodservice equipment or related industry required.
  • Knowledge of relevant aftermarket product/services and applications
  • Excellent training and communication skills, ability to address different audiences
  • Experience in training and service area in foodservice equipment or related industry preferred
  • Familiarity with key sales concepts of product performance, customer satisfaction, and field product application
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to connect with different audiences quickly
  • Domestic travel 20% of the time
