This position will also support Plant Operations and Product Management in understanding financial impact of site decisions.   Reporting directly to the Director Finance; this position is located at Welbilt’s facility in Mount Pleasant, MI*.   We put the 'fast' in fast food and the refinement in fine dining.   • Manage timely completion of month-end financial close pertaining to division cost and inventory transactions for Mt. Pleasant, MI and Covington, TN locations including budgeting/forecasting
  • Identify plant inefficiencies or other issues and proactively initiate analyses/solutions
  • Financial lead supporting New Product Innovation
  • Prepare and maintain standard product costs and capital spend analysis
  Essential Job Functions: 
  • Month-end financial close; review/oversight of detailed cost variance analysis (2 locations); review/support daily and monthly reporting on key cost and production metrics; lead for cost and inventory for audit inquiries; ensure SOX compliance
  • Proactively identify plant issues and initiate resolutions; track cost reduction projects and maintain required reporting
  • New product innovation support through financial lead in cross-functional team; business case management; analytical support
  • Prepare, maintain and analyze standard product costs
  • Oversee and reconcile inventory cycle and annual physical counts; support and tracking on action plans for inventory loss minimization
  • Financial analysis of capital projects using NPV/IRR KPIs
  • Support budget/forecast cycles
  • Ad hoc analysis

Job Requirements

Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; with a minimum of eight years’ of Accounting/Finance experience is required.
  • Experience working with fully integrated ERP System and a solid functional understanding of MRP.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced work environment and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Working conditions include a normal office working environment with some exposure to plant.
