If so, then you could be our next Logistics Specialist at Welbilt’s Mississauga facility.   Under moderate supervision, the Logistics Specialist coordinates shipping and scheduling with transport carriers and provides customer service and offsite warehouse support.  This role researches and resolves discrepancies on orders on a routine basis to meet on-time shipping targets.    Reporting directly to the Senior Customer Care Manager, this position is located in Mississauga, ON*.   We put the 'fast' in fast food and the refinement in fine dining.   • Creates and receives ASNs for product and resolves any issues/differences with purchaser and suppliers
  • Creates and sends sales order picklist to warehouse, confirms shipments and investigates discrepancies
  • Tracks incoming shipments with carriers
  • Manages inventory to accommodate quality issues
  • Manages customer returns and investigate any shipping/receiving issues
  • Arranges and processes vendor returns
  • Provides freight quote program updates
  • Coordinates manual freight quotes and special handling
  • Creates and issues customs documents, as required

Job Requirements

 Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required, College Degree or equivalent is preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in quoting rates, handling booking and trucking arrangements, researching and resolving freight discrepancies and handling customer complaints
  • Must have excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and other relevant MS software
  • Attention to detail
