Job Description

1) Technical leadership of New Product Development projects in area of proven core competency.

2) Scheduling and management of projects.

3) Detailed component and subsystem design, analysis and specification (hand calculations, computer modeling and statistical analysis).            

4) Component and subsystem level issue root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. 

5) Detailed part and unit level verification, validation and reliability test planning and execution.

Job Requirements

1)  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with 2 years of New Product Development and Implementation, preferably in the commercial or residential coffee and fryer industry. Will consider a minimum of 13 years of product development experience in related industry in lieu of education.

2)   Experience with Pro-E and ERP systems (Oracle) is a plus.

3)  Experience with foodservice equipment and/or agency approvals (i.e.: UL, NSF, CE…) is a plus.

4)  Ability to think and problem solve analytically and creatively - uses intuition and experience to complement data.

5)  Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

6)  Exhibits good communication skills both verbal and in written form

7)  Adapts well to changes in the work environment, able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

8)  Working conditions include an office environment with exposure to manufacturing floor.

9)  Ability to travel domestically and internationally – up to 10-20% of the time.
