This position will work cross functionally with teams to ensure that project transitions are communicated effectively, and will manage financial performance standards that support our business goals.   Reporting directly to the Vice President of System Innovation; this position will be located at our headquarters in New Port Richey, FL*.   We put the 'fast' in fast food and the refinement in fine dining.   • Coordination of cross functional teams – including, Tampa and Monterrey ETC and Welbilt brand design center resources.
  • Project transition to the brand design centers and project communications, both customer and internally.
  • Manage project documentation and reporting as well as financial performance.
  • Develop best processes and practices and tools for Innovation NPI processes.
  • Direct and oversee the Program Management programs and projects to meet Company goals and requirements.
  • Develop and implement Program Management processes and policies; direct project management staff and work. with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop Advance Systems projects and programs.
  • Create functional strategies and specific objectives to support the functional infrastructure – budgets, policies, and procedures.
  Essential Job Functions:   
  • Project Planning - direct and manage assigned projects from beginning through transition to brand design center – including but not limited to, defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with all stakeholders; engaging with customers on project scoping and estimating the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Project Ownership – set and continuously manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders utilizing Agile principles.
  • Plan and schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, determine and assess need for additional resources and make the appropriate recruitments, if necessary, during project cycle.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders, on a regular basis.
  • Help drive Innovation NPI process evolution - develop processes and tools for Innovation NPI - implement best practices and share expertise across the company. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the Innovation / Advanced Systems project.
  • Help conduct project post mortems and create a recommendation to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements for continuous improvement; to improve project performance and organizational capability.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:   
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IEOR or Business Administration; with a minimum of 12 years of relevant project management experience is required.
  • Foodservice industry experience is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
