The role of Director of FITKITCHEN Business Development is a project leader & client manager for FITKITCHEN projects; entailing the procurement, management and fulfillment of complete consulting solution for both funded and for Fee for service engagements   Reporting to the VP of FITKITCHEN, this position is based in New Port Richey, Florida.   We put the 'fast' in fast food and the refinement in fine dining.   • Develop new business through company, FIT team own supplied, and won leads of target companies.
  • Manage and project lead FitKitchen client projects from start to finish.
  • Fulfill the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position.
  • Take lead as project manager in developing annual operating plans and budgets for strategy and FIT fee for service projects and subsequent equipment sales.
  • Develop work plans and estimates as they relate to customer FIT projects ensuring all aspects of a client FIT project function together from inception to design to implementation, execution and refinement.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop New FitKitchen business and subsequent equipment sales.
  • Work with Welbilt Legal on the development of confidentiality agreements and pre-business disclosure agreements.
  • Develop and submit Fitkitchen client proposals and subsequent service agreements.
  • Develop presentation materials to demonstrate FIT capabilities and to elicit service requirements through consultative selling.
  • Ability to translate client problems into an actionable scope of services and proposal with detailed budgeting, process and timeline of project.
  • Ability to manage grey area projects into clear and actionable solutions for clients while motivating contractors & consultants to fulfill scope requirements.
  • Field management of customer data acquisition thru FIT staged process to drive operational system development & design direction. 
  • Responsible for organizing the final project content, drawings and data into clear and concise deliverables as per the scope of services and contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for liaison between all internal WELBILT functions and product brands for integration into client projects and final execution and equipment system rollouts.
  • Responsible for invoicing, project accounting and billable hour management of cases and consultants within budgetary requirements.
  • Responsible for FIT project transition to appropriate WELBILT function at project handover.
  • Interface, communicate and keep all parties up to date with customer project requirements across all WELBILT functions including leadership.
  • Draft of approve technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, architectural designs / controls and other systems integrated related documents.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend equipment and technologies based upon customer requirements that cross section WELBILT core competencies and technologies as well as related systems and technologies from other industries and equipment suppliers.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Industrial Design, or Engineering preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the foodservice industry preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Strong and knowledgeable background in food service operations, food safety and restaurant management including labor management, food cost analysis and production procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills - Mastery in Excel and MS PowerPoint a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Ability to think and problem solve analytically and creatively- uses intuition and experience to complement date.
  • Teamwork orientated - contributes to building positive team spirit, able to build group commitments to goals and objectives.
  • Solid business acumen, understands business implications of decisions, displays orientation towards profitability and cost consciousness and aligns work with strategic goals.
  • Adapts well to changes in the work environment, ability to deal with and understand change, delays or unexpected events.
