Look no further – you could be our next Customer Service Representative at Welbilt, Inc.   As a Customer Service Representative – you will be responsible for professional interaction with external customers, provide clear communication, customer order entry, as well as delivery and billing requirements and inquiries.  In addition, you will communicate customer needs and expectations to all levels of the organization (i.e. scheduling, production, shipping and KitchenCare).   Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager; this position is located at Welbilt’s facility in Mount Pleasant, MI*.   We put the 'fast' in fast food and the refinement in fine dining.   • Participate in call-center; handle incoming calls from various customer channels
  • Order entry for production equipment, chain accounts and custom equipment
  • Respond to customer emails promptly and with the highest level of customer care and professionalism 
Essential Job Functions: 
  • Order entry, return authorization entry and credit memo entries
  • Phone participation in group call center to answer incoming calls from customers and representative groups
  • Respond to email inquiries on ship dates, tracking information, equipment order changes and general inquiries
  • Work with various departments including Engineering, Service, Materials, and Credit to address customer requests
  • File and/or scan shipping documents, RMA's, job envelope distribution
  • Attend and participate in product/sales sessions or training
  • Update information in chain account portals

Job Requirements

Job Requirements: 
  • High School Degree
  • One year of product and customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and use ERP System.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to resourcefully use the following equipment: telephone, computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine.
  • Requires accuracy and must be detail oriented in data entry, record keeping, etc.
  • Proficient in typing and filing.
  • Familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Work and Excel.
  • Working conditions include a normal office working environment.
