  • Manipulate the design systems to produce basic and custom drawings.
  • Create drawings for projects to include both approval blue prints as well as production shop drawings to include panel details, accessory lists, and bills of materials. Details will include all views and dimensions necessary to manufacture the specific project.
  • Maintain and proliferate communications between operating areas within the company to include your specific team, other teams, inside sales/quotations, purchasing, scheduling, and manufacturing.

Job Requirements

  • Technical Degree in CAD Drafting/Design; will consider two years of progressive Drafting/Design experience in lieu of education.
  • Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling experience for assembly design is preferred, architectural drafting applicability of the software is also preferred.
  • Intermediate technical drafting skills to include familiarity with engineering terminology.
  • Must have the ability to do calculations dealing with geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to read blue prints and conceptualize two and three-dimensional forms/shapes.
  • Familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills – via written and oral.
  • Working environment is primarily an office setting.
  • Ability to interact with associates at all levels—will have contact with external customers.
  • Must be willing and able to work weekends – as required.
