The Advanced Data Analyst will use statistical analysis and logical reasoning to convert raw data into functional information that can be used by a variety of individuals or companies to further their business objectives. This role will provide knowledge to the Sourcing and Logistics communities throughout Welbilt to make educated business decisions.

Reporting to the VP of Global Logistics and Supply Chain, this position is REMOTE with ability to work from anywhere in the United States.

Major Accountability:

  • Collect, Quality, and Analyze key sources of data at the corporate and brand levels within Welbilt.
  • Provide leadership and assistance with the development and maintenance of data dashboards for spend data associated with brands, suppliers, category, and supplier performance.
  • Create, execute, and maintenance of program documents for data analytics
  • Hold regular communications with Central Sourcing and Brands to provide guidance and adjustments to data analytics tools for business decisions.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the Data mining, processing, and dashboard for sourcing, procurement, logistics, and cost reduction activity for Welbilt and Welbilt brands.
  • Analyze and compare supplier quotes, taking into account TCO (logistics, tariffs, tooling etc)
  • World collaboratively with central sourcing and global sourcing community to understand information needs and generate solutions tapered for individual as well as global needs.
  • Ownership in the design and maintenance of databases, and original data point entry controls.
  • Support Supplier Scorecard data monitoring and assist in providing data to brands as it related to supplier quality metrics.
  • Provide data support for compliance documents and validation.
  • Develop a small council for data analytics for Welbilt to constantly qualify data integrity within the ERP, MRP, and supplier database.
  • Participate in savings workshops with the brands, using data to drive the discussion and identify potential savings opportunities
  • Consolidate brand savings tracking on a monthly basis

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience preferred. 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be highly proficient with Power BI
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time is required.
  • Analytical and logical thinking skills.
  • A strong mathematical and statistical background.
  • Strong collaboration and team building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools with experience in data analytics and BI tools.
  • Experience in operating and extracting data from multiple data sourcing and normalizing data for a singular view of complex data.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
  • Able to travel to Welbilt manufacturing facilities
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
