Look no further – you could be our next Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist at Welbilt.   This role is primarily responsible for professionally and politely answering the multi-line phone calls and accurately directing the calls.  The Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist provides a wide variety of administrative and clerical support to the staff of an organizational unit.  This position will also serve as a liaison within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and customer and technical services.   Reporting directly to the Senior Customer Care Manager, this position is based in Mississauga, Ontario*.   Job Responsibilities:
  • Correctly answers and directs incoming calls.
  • Accurately takes and delivers messages.
  • Welcomes customer and visitors following office procedures (signing in and directing them).
  • Serves as an administrative liaison with all departments and other internal/external contacts and customers.
  • Handles outgoing mail service and arranges for outgoing office couriers
  • Orders office supplies and assists in maintaining copy machines including reading/recording meters, ordering toner, and coordinates service as needed.
  • Fulfils the financial controls and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position.
  • Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and customer and technical services.
  • Provides miscellaneous support and assistance to department employees including:
    • copying, phones, and filing
    • preparation of correspondence, documents, and forms utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • the required research for special projects as assigned
    • ordering tables, chairs, tablecloths, and supplies
    • coordination of company events, charity events, Children's Christmas Parties, BBQ, and other as required
  • Maintains cleanliness of lobby and front office.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • College diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in a customer facing role. Will consider a minimum of 9 years Customer Service/Administrative experience in lieu of education.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage challenging situations.
  • Quick learner who enjoys working in a busy team environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Acts in accordance with the Company Code of Ethics Policy at all times.
  • Proven ability to effectively deal with all levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • May require sitting for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
