The AP manager will be responsible for overseeing the full cycle of accounts payables function for both Garland and Ovens group, including 3rd party and intercompany suppliers while maintaining a strong SOX control environment. Working in fast pace, high volume environment, the successful candidate will be supervising, managing and coaching a team of 4 A/P associates. This position also requires an individual who has worked in multi-currency manufacturing operations with continuous focus on process improvements.

Major Accountabilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Directs and reviews work of staff regarding process, techniques and tools, and problem resolution
  • Oversee the processing of vendor invoices and expense reports, including researching inquiries, providing guidance on coding, and ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Manage intercompany charge back and journal entries, including corporate, KitchenCare, sister companies, etc. Manage intercompany reconciliation during month-end close
  • Ensure month-end accruals of all unvouchered invoices. . Continuously work to resolve unvouchered items to reconcile outstanding amounts with suppliers
  • Create routine operational and special/ad hoc reports as required
  • Facilitate all audit requests in a timely manager

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
  • Must have working knowledge of an ERP system
  • Should have knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Internet software; Order processing systems and Manufacturing software (Microsoft Office, and QAD)
  • CPA designation will be an asset
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within AP or AR.
  • Bachelors degree is required.
