2018-19 Fall/Spring Talent Intern – Human Resources   Welbilt believes the most effective way for young professionals to gain experience in their field of study is through an internship program. All of our products are backed by KitchenCare® – our aftermarket, repair, and parts service.   Program will give interns the opportunity to:

  • Broaden real world experience and receive an inside look at your potential career path
  • Strengthen professional skills in the areas of talent management
  Responsibilities:   The Talent Intern will support the design, development and implementation of programs in the areas of engagement, inclusion, performance management, succession planning, talent, organizational and leadership development that enhance Welbilt capabilities and ensure the organization has the talent capable of meeting current and future business needs.   

  • Research best practices and assist in the development of organizational development and change management tools.
  • Work with Talent Management lead to build a leadership development strategy and curriculum.
  • Research best practices, generate ideas and work closely with site HR leads in the implementation of engagement activities including a pulse survey.
  • Analyze talent data and support the development of key metrics and scorecard.
  • Enhance existing performance management program materials including giving and receiving feedback training to further drive performance culture.
 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:  
  • Must be currently enrolled and have completed a minimum of 3 years of college coursework at the Bachelor’s degree level or at any level at the Master’s degree level completed in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Management with concentration in HR at an accredited university
  • Must be available to intern September to December 2018 and/or January 2019 – May 2019
  • Advanced Excel as well as strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with independently and collaboratively, as needed
  • General knowledge of talent and/or organizational development concepts with strong aptitude to apply in program design and development
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and a strong drive for results
  Additional Information:
  • Internship program will take place at the Welbilt Corporate Headquarters in New Port Richey, FL.
  • Intern will report to the Director of Talent Management, who will assume the primary responsibility for the internship program and day-to-day activities of intern. 
  • Will interact with other HR Centers of Excellence and HR generalists or HR business partners globally
  • This is an un-paid, for college credit only position
  • Work Hours: Flexible to accommodate university schedule
