Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily plant meetings (boardwalk) to identify problems apparent on production lines and support resolution to engineering related requests.

  • Engineering change requests & engineering change orders (ECRs/ECOs) and attending weekly cross functional meetings to discuss and set implementations.

  • Support all NPI / Sustaining engineering initiatives. Assist senior engineers in providing technical specs to production, material, and service teams, BOM updates, investigation of field complains and failures.

  • Spend time in the lab conducting different component/reliability/performance test, document results, draft plans, and think through proper implementation.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 
  • Be enrolled in post-secondary Engineering program or similar technical field.

  • No previous experience required.

  • Must be able to work from approximately May/June 2019 through August 2019 (No vacation time will be granted during this period).

  • PPE required (CSA approved safety shoes, Safety Glasses, etc.)

  • Knowledge of 3D CAD (SolidWorks).

  • Great interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to work in a team or independent environment.

  • Proficiency with MS Office.

  • Desire and willingness to learn
