As Supervisor Production – you will be responsible for quality and quantity produced in production area and will fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance with the production plan. In addition, you will further on control the workflow, checking the availability of materials, also coordinates the activities of multiple production departments to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Manufacturing/Operations; this position is located in Covington, TN*.

Major Accountability:

  • Responsible for quality and quantity produced in one or multiple production departments.
  • Ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained.
  • Fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance with the production plan.
  • Participates in New Products Introduction.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate production activities, people, processes, and materials to complete production schedules according to process specifications
  • Direct workers as to handling the workflow.
  • Direct multi-functions in manufacturing as well improvements for one or multiple departments
  • Ensure fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance with the production plan
  • Ensure accomplishment of SMS System as well promote safety behaviors
  • Checking the availability of materials
  • Supervises and mentoring of new supervisors

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (manufacturing or industrial preferred) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising or leading employees in a manufacturing environment OR will consider a minimum of 9 years’ experience supervising or leading employees in manufacturing environment in lieu of degree required.
  • Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Experience in LEAN and Six Sigma techniques in fabrication preferred.
  • Experience in new production introduction process preferred.
  • Experience participating in internal and external corrective action plan process.
  • Strong team building skills and leadership skills.
  • Must be fluent in English language. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Ability to stand and walk on the production floor for long periods of time. Ability to lift and move material.
