As Master Scheduler you will be responsible for planning team activities to maintain correct production plans, and maintaining and providing information to the Manufacturing department in order to achieve facility goals and customer satisfaction.   Reporting directly to the Materials Manager; this position is located in Mississauga, ON*.   Major Accountability:
  • Maintaining complete and accurate information on production schedule and reports.
  • Manufacturing Contact for all Sales Expedites
  • Responsible for the planning and scheduling of production activities, according to the facility goals and customer satisfaction.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Potential for supervision for planning team and assigns tasks to ensure planning and scheduling accomplishment.
  • Attends meetings with Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Engineering and corporative offices to create achievable' s production plans.
  • Coordinate the shipments, focusing in on time deliveries.
  • Co-ordinates & creates rework tickets to reduce FG returns inventory
  • Co-ordinates stocking programs in a multi-site environment

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
  • Relevant post secondary education with a minimum of five years of manufacturing/materials planning and scheduling experience is required. Will consider a minimum of eleven (11) years of manufacturing/materials planning and scheduling experience in lieu of education.
  • APICS Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with QAD or other relevant ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to function as part of multiple teams in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment.
  • Must be highly organized and comfortable working with tight deadlines.
  • Must be motivated and passionate about the work content.
