As the Manager of External Reporting, you will have oversight for all aspects of the SEC filing processes. You will be a core participant in the quarterly earnings reporting process. Reporting to the Global Assistant Controller, this position is based in New Port Richey, Florida.

Major Accountability:

  • Preparation and filing of Form 10-Qs and Form 10-Ks and support for the preparation and filing of Form 8-Ks,
  • Preparation of the quarterly reporting calendar to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, review and filing of the SEC filings, 
  • Maintaining current knowledge of the company’s strategies, products, services and related regulatory environment to effectively manage and comply with all regulatory reporting requirements and disclosures
  • Supervising and developing the External Financial Reporting Senior.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and filing of Form 10-Qs and Form 10-Ks and support for the preparation and filing of Form 8-Ks,
  • Preparation of the quarterly reporting calendar to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, review and filing of the SEC filings, 
  • Coordination of information requests and supporting documentation from various parts of the company to ensure accurate and timely reporting,
  • Coordination and leading of quarterly planning and close meetings with internal stakeholders,
  • Maintaining current knowledge of the company’s strategies, products, services and related regulatory environment to effectively manage and comply with all regulatory reporting requirements and disclosures,
  • Developing an in-depth understanding and analysis of significant transactions to assess their impact for SEC disclosure purposes,
  • Assisting investor relations with investor activities, including earnings releases, earnings slides and scripts and review of materials for investor presentations,
  • Supporting various aspects of the external audit process including managing audit requests and of completion of various quarter end tasks,
  • Leading research and tracking of industry disclosures, news and best practices for all external reporting,
  • Drafting and presenting quarterly information at quarterly Disclosure Committee meetings,
  • Performing review and providing support for annual proxy statement,
  • Audit coordination lead, financial statement preparation and filings for three Company benefit plans and
  • Supervising and developing the External Financial Reporting Senior.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting
  • CPA certification required
  • Experience in public accounting (audit) strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience and SEC reporting experience with a publicly-traded company
  • Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
  • Proficient in technical and regulatory research
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Workiva (formerly Webfilings) and XBRL preferred, but not required
  • Experience internal control over financial reporting
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adept at handling change
  • Ability to effectively facilitate and present in group meetings
  • Strong leadership development skills and working efficiently in a team environment
