The Logistics Specialist assists with the coordination of shipping and scheduling with transport carriers and provides customer service and offsite warehouse support. May research and resolve discrepancies on orders to meet on-time shipping targets.

Reporting directly to the Manager or Supervisor, Logistics this position is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada*.
Major Accountability:

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with customer returns and investigates any shipping/receiving issues.
  • Arranges and processes vendor returns.
  • Coordinates routine manual freight quotes.
  • Creates and issues customs documents, as required.
  • Creates and receives ASNs for product and resolve any issues/differences with purchaser and suppliers.
  • Creates and sends sales order picklist to warehouse, confirms shipments and investigation discrepancies.
  • Tracks incoming shipments with carriers.
  • Handling bookings, trucking arrangements, researching and resolving freight discrepancies and customer issues.
  • Managing freight damages
  • Receive and invoice Drop Shipments


Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within logistics.
  • HS Diploma required
  •  Must have good communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and other relevant MS software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail will have you stand out in this role.
  • This work typically requires extended periods of sitting at a desk in a typical office environment. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
