Job Description

This position support the overall provisions of human resource activities such as recruiting and staffing, on boarding, employee relations, and employee services. In addition will assist in assuring compliance with Federal and State laws, as well as with Manitowoc Foodservice Corporate policies.

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources and safety functions and helps ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Ensures compliance with all federal state and local legal requirements.

Acts as resource to leadership team, managers and directors. Assists and advises in areas of compensation, recruiting, promotion, etc.

Assist with the recruitment function for professional/technical/hourly positions including, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions; Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals for salaried and hourly new hires;and all areas of legal compliance.

Effectively manages employee relation issues withing established protocols including career pathing, conflict resolution, counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviews. Supports a union-free environment 

Works in TRESS and FUSION and other softwareto maintain records of personnel transactions such as hire, promotions, transfers, reviews and terminations and employee statistical reporting to gov't regulators 
 

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources Management or other related field. Competency in using computers including TRESS, FUSION,Microsoft Office applications is required.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Effective multi-tasking skills.

Bilingual
