Reporting to the Director of Finance, Manager of Compensation will provide leadership and guidance in implementation, execution and administration of centralized sales compensation programs.  There will be strong interaction with Commercial Sales Team, Global Accounts and Manager of Contracts to ensure compensation programs are accounted for and paid according to contract and Welbilt policies.

This position is based in New Port Richey, Florida*.

Major Accountability:

•        Responsible for management, administration, implementation and maintenance of centralized compensation programs and policies & procedures for the Americas commercial sales organization.

•        Drive implementation of tools, reporting and systems to measure performance and effectively & efficiently administer programs.

•        Guarantee compliance of all Welbilt policies and audit requirements as it pertains to sales compensation programs.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

•        COMPENSATION & CONTRACTS:  Implement, support and interpret all contracts for Welbilt Sales Compensation programs including customer rebates, rep commission, commercial incentive plan, promo funds and co-op advertising.  Oversight of systems, reports and processes for Welbilt Sales Compensation programs. Partner with Manager of Contracts to identify program discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.  Approve all compensation payments, gain higher level approvals as necessary and ensure processing through appropriate systems is attained on time and 100% accurate.

•        PLANNING & FORECASTING: Provide data and reports as needed to support annual and rolling revenue forecast process. 

•        INFORMATION & REPORTING: Drive the design, re-design, implementation and validation of existing, new and ad hoc reports as needed and work with internal business partners to address gaps in information and reporting needs. Work independently to process information and data to create reports on activities, trends, and projections regarding incentive plan performance, efficiencies, and possible improvements.

•        ANALYTICS: Provide guidance by developing financial modeling, data and analytics for internal executive review and external negotiation and presentation in support of new sales agreements, renewal of existing sales agreements or special programs.

•        DATA: Lead and participate in the implementation of new and improvement of existing tools, reports and systems to measure performance, improve margins and effectively & efficiently administer all aspects of sales compensation programs.  Provide necessary professional and/or technical level support and guidance.

•        ACCOUNTING & CONTROLS – Complete all balance sheet reconciliation, roll forward, evidence of review documents and audit requirements on time and 100% accurate.   Make recommendations for true up entries and prepare variance explanation to period period & budget for management reporting.  Guarantee compliance and governance of all Welbilt Corporate policies and audit requirements as it pertains to sales compensation accounts.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

•        Bachelor’s degree required.

•        Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

•         Strong business acumen and team development capabilities

•        Strong experience in systems (ChRM, MS Excel, Oracle, QAD, SAP, BI, PBI, Hyperion, etc. Must be advanced in the use of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to do complex formulas, pivot tables and power pivot reports.)

•        Ability to work across cultures and collaborate & communicate effectively with others building positive relationships

•        Ability to develop professionally formatted summary material for use in C-Suite presentations

•        Ability to identify and understand broad-scope issues while simultaneously attending to details

•        Must be well-organized with excellent time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy

•        Proven strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to synthesize information and data from a variety of sources.
