As Master Data Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining centralized master data elements and mapping tables within the Cognos data warehouse and Oracle ChRM (Channel Revenue Management) to support global reporting, planning & forecasting and compensation management.  There will be strong interaction with Americas Sales Finance and Data Warehouse Specialist to maintain data necessary to support systems and end user reporting.



Reporting directly to the Sales Controller, this position is based in New Port Richey, Florida*.



Major Accountability:


  • Manage and maintain master data maintenance as it relates to global customer master, product line, salesperson, end user, Americas 3rd party marketing rep commission and customer rebate offers & rates.

  • Work with various teams including Information Systems, Sales Reporting, Customer Service, and Finance at various locations to ensure that processes are in place and followed as it relates to source records. Ensure that any system holding this data is up to date and in synch with the master.

  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the master data.  Both by enforcing process and through reporting and monitoring.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • MASTER DATA MAINTENANCE: Enter and update Rise Global Customer Master system, Cognos central database master data elements (product line, customer hierarchy, salesperson, end user), Oracle Channel Revenue Management rebate and commission offers and customer field elements.  Support all ERP implementations and incorporate new/revised data elements into central database and reporting systems.  Support all new reporting and/or database requirements needed resulting from changes to the organization.

  • INFORMATION & REPORTING: Responsible for management of the month end data close.  Perform all necessary data validations, data checks and exception reporting. Work with DW Specialist and business unit sites to correct missing/incorrect data elements.  Monitor and report progress to month end close milestone deadlines. 

  • DATA INTEGRITY – Work with stake holders to resolve issues related to master data including coordinating corrections with source ERP systems and historical transactions within the data warehouse and ChRM.



Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Associates Degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience preferred. 5 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in processes (finance and operations) and systems (Data Warehouse, Rise, Oracle, QAD, SAP, BI, etc.) preferred

  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience preferred

  • Ability to work across cultures, communicate and collaborate well with others

  • Ability to work independently and present solutions to problems

  • Very detailed and process oriented

  • Normal office working conditions, with frequent walkthrough of the factories and some travelling by land or air

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
