Job Description

Export order processing m / w / d

Your tasks:

  • Processing of all orders, enquiries, invoices, forms of our foreign customers
  • Order processing & control within the export department
  • Processing of complaints in English
  • Provision of price and delivery information
  • Communication and coordination with the internal departments of accounting, purchasing, warehouse, shipping and technology
  • Creation and maintenance of all relevant customer data
  • Processing of returns and credit notes
  • Consultation and sales activities on the phone

Job Requirements

  • Commercial education (Speditionskaufmann/-frau, 
    Groß-/Außenhandelskaufmann/-frau, Industriekaufmann/-frau) or acquired by appropriate professional experience or knowledge acquired through relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of customs legislation

  • First professional experience in export

  • Good technical understanding

  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, other languages is an advantage

  • Customer-oriented thinking and corresponding commitment

  • Communication and telephone skills

  • PC skills (Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, PPS)

  • Ability to work independently and conceptually. To have a good comprehension with a high sense of responsibility and an interest in taking responsibility quickly, organizational skills

  • Teamwork skills

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a wholesale/foreign trade clerk, industrial clerk or forwarding clerk or knowledge acquired through corresponding professional experience
  • Professional experience in export
  • Knowledge of customs regulations
  • Good technical understanding
  • Fluent in German written and spoken as well as good English skills, further foreign language skills desirable
  • Customer-oriented thinking and corresponding willingness to work hard
  • Communication skills and phone competence
  • Computer skills (Windows, word processing, spreadsheet, PPS)
  • Ability to work independently and conceptually, good comprehension skills with a high degree of responsibility and interest in taking on responsibility quickly
  • Ability to work in a team
